  1. Do not forget about the image sliders! My suggestion to your list is Sugar Slider, a plugin that goes beyond many the crap sliders that offer features like: “add image using featured image (not ment to be used that way) and limit display of sliders from one category, at one place in your template, without any smart options like multiple sliders, at multiple locations, easy drag n drop rearranging of slides in sliders” =)

    • I agree! Though not just because you suggested that my Sugar Slider plugin be listed, but because there are several other great slider manager plugins out there as well, such as uBillBoards.

    • I’m interested in finding out more about Sugar Slider, but a quick Google and search of the WP plugins repository reveals nothing… Can you point us in the right direction?

  5. Thanks for sharing this list.

I tried using GetShopped for my online store, but had lots of issues configuring it. After trying a few different options, my favorite is the Shopp plugin.

$55 for the plugin and $25 for extra modules like Authorize.net and shipping calculators. Just thought I’d share another option if anyone is frustrated with GetShopped.

  6. As Curt Moreno I am a WordPress noob and I also find this list very helpfull. I am going to download some of them.
