We’ve all seen the standard e-store layout: a wall of product mini-photos and brief descriptions. But recent research indicates that if shoppers are exposed to too many options they freeze, hesitate, and move on without purchasing. So maybe store designs need to open up a bit and present their products with bigger pictures and more description. The result would be fewer items on the page, but a lot more information visually and textually for the product itself.
