It seems all the rumors that have already been previously spread about Microsoft bringing its Office app suite to iOS will finally come true. A spokesperson from Microsoft states, “Office will work across Windows Phone, iOS and Android.” The Verge was first to break the story with the aid of several sources close to Microsoft’s plans.

The productivity suite, dubbed as Office Mobile will debut as several free apps (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) that will allow users to ONLY to view Microsoft Office documents. If you want the ability to edit, you’ll need to sign up for an Office 365 subscription through the In-App purchase.

The app suite will be made available for iOS first somewhere around February or March, with the version for Android following a few months later.

So what do you guys think? Do you see yourself using Office Mobile in the future once it’s released? The price plans are still a bit vague at this point but how much do you think it will cost to get the full version? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section below.
