The State of NFL Websites



With the NFL getting back to full speed post-lockout and the excitement building around the fan bases in the U.S., I thought I would celebrate a bit myself. So I am. Kind of. By reviewing all 32 official team websites. You are free to judge my party prowess based on this, but I would beg you not to.

Unfortunately, my fun was spoiled when I actually got a look at the websites. I expected similar layouts for each team going in, after all, that would be the cost effective way for the NFL to maintain these sites. What I didn’t expect was the all-around mediocrity these professional organizations (that bring in millions and millions of dollars) would bring to the table. Integrating Datepicker with jQuery



Gone are the days when we have to write code, manually from scratch, to create a Website in an editor, mostly it was Notepad. Nowadays, we are using tools like Adobe Dreamweaver, Zend Studio, Microsoft Visual Studio Express and existing code libraries to simplify our work and get it done with fewer efforts in less time.
