3D Elements it’s not very frequent thing in web design. But you can find some blogs or websites that are using 3D elements in web design. As you can see 3D elements are used to decorate blog posts or to highlight important parts like navigation, date and other information. Maybe this is a new web design trend for 2010?

    I think 3D is a good idea when we are trying to highlight specific elements. In your list I like “Monterrey Fashion” and “Carl Cartee” initiatives.

    Nice post Tomas. I actually was going to use this 3d style effect on Design Informer but I decided not to do it. Maybe on my redesign, I might use some type of 3d effect. Nice collection of sites.

    Good collection of examples of 3-D sites.Just folding a cornet of a banner or shade does not always brings the perfect essence of a 3D effect. To me “east valley bible church” and ‘I can watch movies” are perfect example 3d effect to highlight points.
