The First Month of Blogging
Hello everyone and happy Halloween. October finished and I want to review 1st month of blogging. It’s been an excellent first month for Web Design Fan. Thanks to all visitors and commentators. Take a look at the blog’s statistics.
Traffic and Stats
I think that is interesting to know something about blog numbers, so I’ve decided to attach screenshots from Google Analytics for the month for both the overview and traffic sources. Also I’ve added dashboard screenshot.

Daily traffic record was 3,404 Visits on Monday, October 19.

As you can see best traffic generators were social networks like delicious.com and twittter.com, thanks to all who retweeted or bookmarked our posts. I hope that you will help us to create active and friendly design community.

Great blog! The statistics you have posted are really impressive. I’ve just started blogging too. I do notice that blogs which directly provide links to design resources and the like generally have a better following. For example, for the blog I’m running, it focuses on more abstract ideas behind creative design. Just out of curiosity, did you buy ads as part of WebDesignFan’s promotion strategy? Your work here is really great! :)
